Human Biomechanics is the science of how the human body moves. The Functional Patterns approach focuses on optimising fundamental movement patterns (walking, running, hinging, throwing) to eliminate the root causes of chronic pain and injury.
Yes. Chronic pain rehabilitation is one of the core specialisations at Axis Studio. The biomechanical approach identifies and corrects structural causes of pain — not just symptoms. We have success with lower back, hip, knee and shoulder pain.
Online coaching includes: initial video movement assessment, personalised weekly programme, weekly video check-ins, direct WhatsApp communication and monthly programme adjustments. Ideal for those who cannot attend in person.
Not necessarily. Foundation and Performance programmes are designed to be performed with minimal or no equipment. Axis Studio has full equipment for in-studio sessions. For online coaching, we will advise on any essential tools.
